Qorvo Acquires MEMS Sensor Solutions Provider NextInput

Qorvo®, Inc. (NASDAQ: QRVO), a leading provider of innovative RF solutions for mobile applications, infrastructure and aerospace and defense applications, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of NextInput. Based in Mountain View, California, NextInput is an industry pioneer in the emerging field of force-sensing human-machine interface (HMI) solutions.

NextInput has shipped tens of millions of MEMS-based sensors to leading smartphone manufacturers, wearable device manufacturers, automakers and other application manufacturers. The acquisition of NextInput further expands Qorvo’s MEMS technology portfolio, which enables Qorvo to accelerate the deployment of force sensing solutions using MEMS-based sensors. NextInput will be integrated into Qorvo’s Mobile Products Group, led by NextInput founder and CEO Ali Foughi.
